How do I create an account?
Click "Register" on the homepage. You can sign up with your email or use Google sign-in. After registration, verify your email to activate your account.
What are the different user roles?
Smart Campus supports 5 roles: Student (learn and build career), Teacher (create courses and earn), Organization Admin (run digital campuses), Employer (hire talent), and Parent (track progress). You can activate multiple roles from your profile.
Is Smart Campus free to use?
Creating an account and browsing courses, teachers, and jobs is free. Students pay course enrollment fees. Teachers need a subscription to create courses. Organizations pay subscription fees for workspace features.

How do I enroll in a course?
Browse courses, find one you like, and apply to an available batch. Once the teacher accepts your application, a fee plan is generated. Complete your payments to unlock classroom access.
What happens if I miss a payment?
Classroom access may be restricted until your installment is current. You can view your fee plan and make payments from your student dashboard. Contact the teacher if you need to discuss payment arrangements.
How do live classes work?
Once enrolled and payments are current, you'll see scheduled classes in your "Today's Classes" section. Click "Join" to enter the live video classroom powered by Stream.io.
Can I request a new batch?
Yes! If no current batch fits your schedule, use the "New Batch Request" feature to let the teacher know there's demand. The teacher can then create a new batch.

How do I start teaching?
Activate your Teacher profile from your account settings, subscribe to a teacher plan, then create your first course. Add course details, syllabus, and create a batch with schedule and pricing.
How much do I earn?
You earn 75% commission on every student enrollment fee. Commissions are automatically calculated and deposited into your platform wallet. You can request withdrawals from your wallet page.
How do I conduct live classes?
Schedule classes for your batches, then on class day, go to "Today's Classes" and click "Start" to enter your classroom. From there, join the video call. Students will join the same session.
How do I promote my courses?
Go to "My Promotions" in your teacher menu. Create a promotion by selecting your course, choosing a pricing plan, targeting your audience, and submitting for admin approval.
How do I set up my own Stream app for live classes?
Go to Teacher Settings → Video (Stream). Register a free account at getstream.io, create a new app under Video & Audio, then copy the API Key, Secret Key, and App ID. Paste them into the form, toggle "Activate for my classes" on, and click Verify & Save. Your classes will now run on your own Stream app — each app gets $100 free credit every month. You can also enable class recording from the same page.

How do I set up an organization?
Go to "My Organizations" and click "Create Organization". Choose your org type (School, College, Training Academy, Coaching Center), fill in details, and subscribe to an org plan.
What is a Training Academy?
Training Academy is a specialized org type with full batch management, teacher/student onboarding, class scheduling, enrollment with fee plans, PSA contracts, and comprehensive reporting.
How do custom roles work?
Org admins can create custom roles with granular permissions per module (add, edit, delete, search, print, approve, decline, hold). Assign roles to members to control what they can access and do.
What are PSA contracts?
Public-Private Service Agreements allow Training Academies to partner with schools/colleges for batch-level student access. Create contracts, assign installment schedules, and manage payments — all through the platform.

How do I post a job?
Create an Employer profile, fill in your company details, and navigate to "Job Posts" to create and publish job listings. Your jobs will appear on the public job board.
Can I promote my job listings?
Yes! Use "My Promotions" to create a Job Promotion. Select a pricing plan and target audience to boost visibility. Promoted jobs appear in the feed and sidebar across the platform.

Payments & Wallet
What payment methods are supported?
We support UPI, credit/debit cards, net banking, and wallet payments via Cashfree gateway. For PSA contracts, additional methods include bank transfer, cash, cheque, and PDC.
How do teacher withdrawals work?
Go to your Wallet page and click "Request Withdrawal". Enter the amount and your bank details. Withdrawal requests are reviewed and approved by the platform admin.
Are payments secure?
All payments are processed through Cashfree, a PCI-DSS compliant payment gateway. We never store your full card details. Transactions are encrypted end-to-end.

Live Classes & Video
What do I need for live classes?
A modern web browser (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge), stable internet connection, and a webcam/microphone. No software installation needed — classes run directly in your browser.
Can I watch classes on my Smart TV or big screen?
Yes! Once a live class is started on your mobile or laptop, you can cast it to any Smart TV or wireless display (Chromecast, Fire TV, Apple TV, Miracast, etc.) connected to the same network. Open the class, scan the QR code displayed on your TV, and grant permission from your mobile to transfer the session. Once the class is running on the TV, you can put your phone away — no need to keep it active. If the TV loses network connectivity, the class automatically falls back to your mobile device so you never miss a moment.
How does the QR code casting work?
Step 1: Start or join a live class on your mobile/laptop. Step 2: On your Smart TV, open the Smart Campus cast receiver (or scan the class QR code). Step 3: The QR code appears — scan it from your mobile. Step 4: Approve the cast request on your mobile. Step 5: The class streams directly to the TV. Your mobile is now free — parents can safely take the device since the class continues on the big screen independently.
What happens if my TV disconnects during a class?
If the TV loses network or the wireless display disconnects, the class session automatically transfers back to your original mobile or laptop. You will receive a notification and the class continues without interruption. You can re-cast to the TV once the connection is restored.
Can classes be recorded?
Yes — recording is available when the teacher has set up their own Stream app. Go to Teacher Settings → Video (Stream), enable Recording, and choose where recordings are stored (Stream dashboard, with Google Drive coming soon). Once enabled, a "Recordings" button appears on finished classes in the teacher's class list. For organization TA classes, the org admin can enable recording under Org Settings → Video (Stream).
How does the platform decide which video credentials to use for a class?
Each classroom automatically picks the right Stream credentials in this priority order: (1) Teacher's own credentials — if the teacher has configured and activated their own Stream app under Teacher Settings → Video; (2) Organization credentials — if the class belongs to an org Training Academy that has an active org Stream app. Teachers and organizations must register their own Stream API credentials to use online classroom streaming — there is no platform-level fallback. Students don't need to do anything — it's fully automatic once the teacher or organization has set up their Stream credentials.

How do I enable two-factor authentication?
Go to Profile > Security. Enable TOTP-based 2FA using any authenticator app (Google Authenticator, Authy, etc.). Save your backup codes in a safe place.
How do I report inappropriate content?
Click the "..." menu on any post and select "Report". Choose a reason and submit. Reports are reviewed by platform admins.

How do promotions work?
Create a promotion from "My Promotions", select type (Course, Job, or Sponsored Ad), add content and targeting, choose a pricing plan, and submit. After admin approval, your promotion goes live for the plan duration.
What pricing plans are available?
Standard plans include One-Time Spotlight (1 day), Weekly Boost (7 days), and Monthly Premium (30 days). Exact pricing is shown during the promotion creation flow.
How do I track promotion performance?
Each promotion has a Statistics button showing impressions, unique views, clicks, CTR, reactions, comments, and a daily breakdown chart.
